When we first saw Sunny, he was in unbearable pain—his eyes dull, his body trembling. But the moment he saw us, he smiled. Through the agony, he still had hope.

His left forelimb was badly injured. X-rays revealed a dislocated elbow. Tests showed his heart was enlarged and his lungs congested. He was holding on—but just barely.

We acted fast. He was sedated, his joint gently repositioned, and his leg secured in a prosthetic cast. Slowly, with the right care and medication, the pain began to fade.

And then, something beautiful happened.
Sunny began to heal. He stood. He walked. He played.
And one day, we let him go—back to the place he knew as home.

Now, he runs through the streets he grew up in, full of joy, tail wagging, heart strong again. And every time he sees us, he still smiles… as if to say thank you.
