Bruno

Bruno has been hit by a train. By the time a kind man was able to intervene and save him, both his front legs were crushed beyond repair. We rushed him into surgery, and to save his life, we had no choice but to amputate both forelimbs.

But that has only been the beginning of Bruno’s fight. His bloodwork has revealed more serious complications. His kidneys have started to fail. His liver has begun to shut down. There has also been a dangerous buildup of air in his lungs. We are still uncertain whether he will make it through the night.

He has been connected to IV drips, surrounded by a team of veterinarians working tirelessly to stabilize him. Bruno has remained still, silent, and fighting. Then came small signs of hope—a slight twitch, a breath, a heartbeat that has grown just a little stronger. But he is not out of danger yet.

Bruno has been fighting for his life, and we have been doing everything we can to fight for him.

Stray dogs like Bruno live every day on the edge of survival—injured, ignored, and left to suffer. He didn’t choose this life. He doesn’t deserve this pain. But with your help, his story doesn’t have to end here.
